DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Four Mason men have been arrested in connection with an armed home invasion that occurred early Thursday morning at a Deerfield Township apartment.

An armed robbery was reported at about 12:34 a.m. at in the 5100 block of Sweetbay Street, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

The victims reported three black males wearing masks entered their apartment with an assault rifle and held them at gunpoint, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

The masked intruders took items from their apartment and then fled the scene, the victims told deputies. No one was injured and no shots were fired.

Eyewitness testimony given to detectives led to a suspect being developed. The Warren County Tactical Response Team assisted in executing a search warrant in the 9400 block of Falcon Lane in Deerfield Township where stolen property, narcotics and weapons were recovered.

Arrested on aggravated burglary charges were Dominic R. Wallace, 18; Mikal V. Evans, 19; Michael E. Walker III, 20.

Also, Matthew C. Jackson, 19, was arrested and charged with complicity to aggravated burglary.

All suspects were taken to the Warren County Jail. Additional charges are expected, the Sheriff’s Office said.
