CINCINNATI - You have heard the stories about the world coming to an end on December 21, 2012.
Dean Regas from the Cincinnati Observatory says, "Forget what you read on websites. Don't believe movies or the History Channel. The world will not end on December 21, 2012."
2012: The Real Story will be presented on Wednesday, December 21 at 7 p.m. at the Cincinnati Observatory.
The program takes a look into the Mayan calendar. It will investigate if there are any unique astronomical events happening on that "fateful" day on the 2012 Winter Solstice.
