CINCINNATI - A Warren County grand jury indicted 10 people in connection to a meth lab investigation on Monday.

Officials say the indictments come after an investigation conducted by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Warren County Drug Task Force that started in 2010.

Area pharmacists suspicious of the individuals purchasing pseudoephedrine (PSE), a necessary ingredient in the manufacture of meth, provided authorities with the initial information of the operation.

The National Precursor Log Exchange (NPLEx) aided police in capturing the individuals involved in the alleged meth ring.

In July 2011, the Morrow Police Department discovered a clandestine methamphetamine lab in their village, and their information proved to be very important to the furtherance of the case at that time, according to officials. That was followed closely by the discovery of an additional lab in Salem Township.

"The manufacturing of methamphetamine is an extraordinarily volatile process that puts surrounding residents and responding law enforcement officers in grave danger of serious injury or even death. Our office will continue to work with the Drug Task Force and other law enforcement officials to aggressively prosecute those who manufacture and traffic this vile drug,” said David Fornshell, Warren County Prosecutor.

According to police, some of the individuals are currently incarcerated or are on probation/parole with others at large and are being sought by the drug task force.

The following people were named in Friday's indictments:

40-year-old Susan Wright of Morrow (in jail)
36-year-old Christopher Meece of Morrow (wanted)
21-year-old Brittany Burkey of Morrow (wanted)
57-year-old Zora Kratzer of Morrow (probation)
38 year old Arizona Schearing (wanted)
35-year-old Jason Culbreth of Goshen (wanted)
31-year-old Stacy Garrett of Milford (wanted)
27-year-old Mick Gauden of Blanchester (wanted)
30-year-old Robbie Duncan of Milford (arrested)
34-year-old Charles Burke (probation)

    Obama refocuses terror threat level

Obama is not claiming final victory over extremists who still seek to kill Americans and other Westerners. Instead, he is refocusing the long struggle against terrorism that lies ahead, steering the United States away from what he calls an equally frightening threat — a country in a state of perpetual war.
