CINCINNATI - In honor of breast cancer awareness month, the University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute is hosting a reception and breast cancer information fair this Thursday.

Presentations at the event will include “What is breast cancer” and “Breast imaging update.” A breast cancer survivor will also share her personal story about breast cancer and her treatment experience at the UC Health Barrett Center.

Later on in the day, a reception with refreshments and a raffle kicks off at 7:15 p.m. Guests are encouraged to wear pink to show their support in the fight against breast cancer.

Free and open to the public, the affair will take place at the UC Health Barrett Center, 234 Goodman Street from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the second-floor lobby.
