9 Against Breast Cancer would like to introduce you to a local GPS for breasts.

The Barrett Cancer Center has what’s actually called a breast health navigator.

You meet with the navigator after you have an abnormal biopsy or mammogram.

"My main concern is the patient,” said Gail Johnson, RN at the Barrett Cancer Center. “I need to reduce the anxiety so I can provide some education for the patron about what needs to happen, why they need a biopsy, what will happen after the biopsy."

Other local hospitals also have medical professionals you can talk to throughout the process to help educate the patient, answer their questions and help them navigate through the next step.
