CINCINNATI - It's nice to know true love really can last.  And that's what researchers found in a survey published online in the journal "Social Psychological and Personality Science."

The survey found that 40 percent of couples who've been married at least ten years say they're still "intensely" in love with their partner.

The researchers from Harvey Mudd College and Stony Brook University wanted to know why love lasts for the happy couples.

The couples who said they were still "intensely" in love thought positively about their spouses, and thought about them when they were away. They reported more kisses, hugs, and sex. They shared common interests.

Education level and money did not seem to matter in this survey.
