Microwave popcorn linked to Alzheimer's

What makes buttered popcorn taste good to you may put you at risk for Alzheimer's disease.

A new study finds the flavorant diacetyl causes brain proteins to misfold into the Alzheimer's linked form called beta amyloid.

Researchers have already linked diacetyl to lung damage in people who work in microwave popcorn facilities.

Many microwave popcorn companies have stopped using it.
