OTTAWA, Canada - Doctors now say getting a flu shot during pregnancy provides unexpected benefits to your baby.

The study showed that H1N1 vaccination significantly reduced risk of stillbirth, pre-term birth and extremely small babies at birth.

Researchers at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute used birth records and looked at more than 55,000 births.
