Bootsy Collins Gives Back To Community

Cincinnati Children's Hospital is hosting its ninth annual Sickle Cell Awareness and Education Day on Saturday, Aug. 28.

It invites families to learn more about the disease in a fun and interactive way.

All children with sickle cell who attend the event will get a free pair of shoes, book bag, and a visit with Bootsy Collins.

The free event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fifth Third Auditorium at Children's Hospital.
