NEW YORK - "US News and World Report" ranks Weight Watchers as the best commercial diet plan. But the New York Times says recently some people have been struggling to lose weight on their new system.
The new system is called Points Plus , and it's intended to steer people toward healthier food choices by giving "zero points" to more fresh fruits and vegetables.
But some nutritionists say calories still count. If you eat four bananas, that's still 400 calories.
Others say you don't get get fat from eating fresh fruit.
Weight Watchers has advised people who are not losing weight, to reduce their daily food intake by 10 percent.
