CINCINNATI - Having a green home could put some green in your pocket. A new contest is looking for the most energy efficient homes in the Uptown area. The winner could get up to $7,500 in cash and prizes.
The Green Your Home program kicks off Wednesday at 10 a.m. at The Aquarius Restaurant on Ludlow Avenue in Cincinnati.
It's sponsored by the Cincinnati Energy Alliance and the Uptown Consortium.
They are looking for the most energy efficient homes in the Uptown neighborhoods. Those communities include Avondale, Clifton, Corryville, Clifton Heights, University Heights, and Mt. Auburn.
