PARK HILLS, Ky. - A Northern Kentucky senior works hard no matter what he's doing, whether its in the classroom or on a sports field.
Adam Goddard has a 4.18 weighted GPA at Covington Catholic High School. The senior shines on both the football and soccer field.
Goddard also helps out with several programs around Northern Kentucky to give back to underprivileged children.
"It's great working with kids because they're always so upbeat, they always have a positive attitude already and are willing to learn. So they're just great to work with and it makes me feel great to be able to help them out," said Goddard.
David Wirth, the football coach at Covington Catholic, said Goddard can be seen working hard in school as well as sports.
"I think a guy that does as much as he does, not only in the classroom with his high test scores and GPA, but with the community service, all the outreach that he does there on behalf of himself and behalf of the school. Along with being a varsity athlete in two sports in one season, is pretty amazing," Wirth said.
"When you're doing stuff that you love, it's not a burden. It's something that you're enjoying to do so it's not hard to take time out of your day to do it," said Goddard.
