BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Indiana excise police have cited a popular Bloomington nightspot where an Indiana University student spent several hours before disappearing June 3.

Cpl. Travis Thickstun said Kilroy's Sports Bar was cited Thursday for allowing a minor to loiter and furnishing alcoholic beverages to a minor.

Police have said 20-year-old Lauren Spierer of Greenburgh, N.Y., spent the evening with friends at Kilroy's before her disappearance.

Thickstun says excise officers decided to cite Kilroy's because of discrepancies in the physical description on the identification that Spierer used to enter the bar.

Possible penalties include a fine and suspension or revocation of the bar's permit to sell alcoholic beverages

Thickstun says Kilroy's owners and employees have cooperated in the investigation.

A message seeking comment from the bar's management was left at the bar.
