INDIANAPOLIS - Nothing compares to watching the Super Bowl in person or even at a local Indianapolis bar this year. But if you make the trip up I-74, how much will it cost you to simply park your car? The numbers may shock you.
"I put my car in the garage and I just plan on walking or taking a cab to places instead of messing with it," said one Indianapolis resident.
Leading up to Super Bowl Sunday, many downtown parking lots will cost about $25.
Here's the shocker, one parking spot in a private garage near the stadium on Sunday will cost between $50 and $100. If you have an R-V, you could pay as much as $900.
Indianapolis does have a Super Bowl Host Committee that set up a park and ride system . These spots have to be pre-booked and many lots and times are nearly sold out.
So if you just plan on buzzing up 74 from Cincinnati to get close to the big game, be prepared to pay some big bucks.
