CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The final night of the Democratic National Convention on Thursday is set to bring surprises and primetime speeches from President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

According to CNN, three surprise guests who are rumored to appear tonight on the convention stage are Hollywood starlets Scarlet Johansson, Natalie Portman and Kerry Washington. What is confirmed by Democratic officials is a speech by Eva Longoria as well as performances by Mary J Blige and the Foo Fighters.

But of course, all eyes will be on the big speeches of the night featuring Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama.

The President was originally scheduled to accept his party’s presidential nomination before a crowd of 74,000 at an outdoor stadium near the Democratic convention site Thursday night. But the threat of severe weather has forced convention officials to move the event indoors to the Time Warner Cable Arena.  Since the final day was originally planned as an outdoor event, there aren't any balloons waiting to drop in the convention hall.
