WILMINGTON, Del. - Authorities say there was a shootout at a Wilmington park as a soccer tournament was being played. One person was killed and several others were hurt.

Capt. Nancy Dietz tells The News Journal three men began firing into a crowd at Eden Park and some people in the crowd fired back.

The three men fled in a vehicle, but it crashed a few blocks away. One of the men was found in the vehicle and had been shot multiple times. He was later pronounced dead.

The other two men fled and were found by police in a nearby vacant lot.

There was an earlier shooting in the area, but police have not determined whether they were linked.
