Many of us will spend at least part of our Thanksgiving mashing potatoes for the masses.

But is there an easier way?

To wrap up our week of Try-It-Out Tuesdays, we put Crate and Barrel's Double Action Potato Masher to the test.

The second spring-loaded wires on top are supposed to work with twice the action and half the elbow grease, mashing potatoes twice in one stroke.

We found that it works. It's more efficient than a traditional masher. Our came out lump-free with little work.
But for big batches, you might still want to a resort to a hand mixer.

It's $10.95 at Crate and Barrel.

As always, this is an unscientific test with unscientific results.
