For many women, Valentine's Day is a national holiday.
But for many men, it's like an IRS audit: something you don't look forward to, because you worry you won't get it right.
So what exactly are most women looking for? A new report has some suggestions.
Forbes Magazine: Other Things Women Want
The number one Valentine's Day are flowers, chocolates, and jewelry. All are things that women love.
But Forbes magazine says that while giving those favorites is fine, it says men should consider giving a little bit more, just to make your woman feel a bit more special.
And it doesn't mean spending a lot more money.
Forbes says many women would love:
-A gift of pampering, such as a massage, either by you or a professional.
-Someone else doing the housework.
-A gift card for a pedicure.
-A heartfelt thank you for all they do, especially if they take care of the kids. It says a hand written note in a card goes a long way.
Now just to clarify, the report says ladies still like flowers. But it suggests showing some love and meaning in addition to the basics.
It will be appreciated, and that way you don't waste your money.
