Gas prices have made a big more upward as a result of Tropical Storm Isaac: a 20- to 30- cent jump at some Cincinnati-area stations.

So good news: The nation's largest retailer is about to give drivers a break.

With gas now up to $3.99 in much of Ohio, and at least one area station charging $4.25 for regular, drivers are seeing red. And pump prices are expected to remain near an all time high through the Labor Day holiday.

So Walmart has just announced it is lowering prices at its Murphy USA gas stations by as much as 15 cents a gallon.

So What's the Catch?

There is one small catch.

   - To get the 15-cent discount you have to pay with a Walmart credit card or Walmart prepaid money card.

-A Walmart Gift Card will get you a 10-cent discount.

-Cash or other credit/debits cards will not get a discount.

The goal here is to get you to go inside Walmart.  Many drivers will have to go into the store to buy a prepaid card, where they'll be tempted to spend more.

Interested? The deal runs Aug. 31 through Dec. 24, Christmas Eve.
