Shopping on a Budget

You have made your holiday budget and you are checking it twice.  Chances are that you didn’t budget money for a new holiday outfit but there’s a way to get a designer dress for less.

When it comes to consignment shopping Tri-State shoppers have dozens of options around town.   Megan Fenno of Cincysavers.com took us to 4 ^thStreet Boutique.  It’s a consignment charity shop in downtown Cincinnati.  The proceeds from the shop go to Dress for Success so you give back to the community when you shop.  In the store, Fenno helped us find a couple of deals and outfits including a dress, necklace and shoes for less than 30 dollars and a simple black cocktail dress for 25 dollars.  Fenno’s advice for a black cocktail dress change up the accessories, shoes or leggings and you will have a couple different holiday outfits for less. Plus, it can help your overall bottom line according to Fenno, “The great thing about not spending a ton of money on clothing for all of these holiday gatherings is that you actually have more money to spend on presents and gifts, “
