Have you filed your taxes yet? If so, you may not be able to track your refund.
The IRS says a computer glitch is causing problems with its popular "Where's my Refund" feature.
Many taxpayers are complaining that they have filed their taxes, are expecting a refund, but can find no information when they enter their Social Security number at the IRS website.
The IRS has been flooded by calls and emails, and has now posted the following message on its website:
"This is a temporary situation, and we expect to resolve the matter in a few days. At that time, taxpayers will be able to get an expected refund date when they visit 'Where's My Refund.'
If a taxpayer received an acknowledgment message that their e-filed tax return has been received, they can be assured that the IRS has the tax return even though "Where's My Refund" does not reflect that."
The IRS says your refund is being processed, and should arrive within seven to 14 days of filing, if you signed up for direct deposit into your bank account.
So where's your refund? The IRS website doesn't know.
