Finally, a bit of good news for season pass holders to the Beach Waterpark which announced last week that it will not open in 2012.
Kings Island announced Thursday afternoon that everyone with a season pass to Mason water park is entitled to one free day at Kings Island this summer. Check Kings Island's website for more details.
Each Beach pass holder will be able to receive one Kings Island ticket, with access to its Soak City water park included, between April 28 and May 28. Daily operation begins May 11, 2012.
Kings Island will also let Beach pass holders purchase a Kings Island Gold season pass for a discounted price of just $49.
The Beach has not yet announced any plans for refunds of season passes for this summer, leaving many customers who ordered passes early very unhappy.
Ironically, Kings Island's new water park is one of the reasons the Beach blamed for its demise.
As always, don't waste your money.
