Despite good numbers for this year so far, Black Friday sales have plateaued in recent years, as more and more shoppers do their holiday shopping online.
As a result, Cyber Monday, the Monday after Thanksgiving, is becoming one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
But one of the best bargain websites -- DealNews.com -- says the lowest prices actually come after Cyber Monday.
It says if you can wait as long as you can, you will almost always find lower prices.
Deal News compared prices of the "Fab 15, " or 15 hot toys last year, and found the lowest prices two weeks before Christmas, not on Cyber Monday.
However, if you decide not to shop on Cyber Monday, but to wait for lower prices, just be sure to check shipping policies at your favorite retailer.
Some are offering free shipping only on Cyber Monday, which means you may pay $5 more if you shop later.
So if free shipping is only offered on Monday, it may make sense to buy so you don't waste your money.
