RR Donnelley plans to close Greenfield, Ohio facility

GREENFIELD, Ohio - RR Donnelley announced Tuesday that it plans to permanently close its facility in Greenfield, Ohio.

The global provider of integrated communications says all 166 employees at the manufacturing facility located at 1035 North Washington Street will be affected by the move, according to a letter sent to the Office of Workforce Development in Columbus, Ohio.

The company says no employees will have “bumping rights” to displace other employees currently working for RR Donnelley , according to the letter

The moves are expected to take place during a 14-day period commencing May 6, 2013.

RR Donnelley says the timetable is based on the “best information currently available” and various factors may still affect the timing of any employment separations.

While the company has a rough timetable, it says that the information is subject to change.

A letter was sent to the Office of Workforce Development to comply with the Worker Adjustment and Refraining Notification Act (WARN).
