CINCINNATI - Procter & Gamble Co. has announced a voluntary recall of dry pet food sold through its Natura Pet Products subsidiary. The recall involves four branded products that used specific lots of pet food manufactured in Nebraska during a two-week period in December.

A company release said the food has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, but no Salmonella-related illnesses have been reported.

Natura Pet Products announced the recall late yesterday. The Fremont, Neb. –based company was acquired by P&G in 2010. The recall involves the brands, California Natural, Evo, Healthwise and Innova. A complete list of products being recalled can be found here :
