If you suffer from back pain, yoga classes might help reduce your pain and increase your ability to function.

Clearly, that's something you should check with your doctor first, but a new study by doctors at West Virginia University found that yoga classes, in addition to conventional treatments, did help people with chronic back pain.

The study published in the journal 'Spine' found that people with back pain who took yoga for two months experienced a 42% reduction in pain. They also experienced a 45% decrease in depression and a 29% reduction in functional disability.
