American Airlines offers home baggage delivery

American Airlines is offering a new service that allows passengers to skip baggage claim.

The airline has teamed up with BAGS VIP Luggage Delivery.

For an extra fee, passengers can opt to have their bags delivered to their home or hotel room.

American Airlines promises most people using the service will get their bags within four hours.

Some restrictions do apply and the service is only available to a limited number of cities for now.

The fee for baggage delivery starts at $30.
