Thanksgiving happens to be my favorite holiday.  I guess it's because it's all about tradition, family and sharing.  You don't buy presents.  You just hang out in your apron all day long, eat food, laugh with friends and family and watch football.  What could be better?  So, a list of a few things I'm thankful for.

They are in no particular order, just what spilled out of my head.

I'm grateful for...
Sunshine hitting my face on a cold day
The smell of fresh-brewed coffee in the morning
A clean countertop
No dirty clothes on the floor
A kiss from my son in front of his friends

I'm grateful for...
Tolerance from my husband when I'm having one of "those" days
A perfect sugar cookie
A made bed
Giant sweatshirts and fuzzy slippers
A friend on the other end of the phone

I'm grateful for...
The time I had with my mom, short though it may have been
A good book and a few moments to curl up with it
Good health for my family and friends
The ocean
Walking with my kids to look for shells on the beach

I'm grateful for...
A nod or word of appreciation from my boss
The roof over my head
The love of my husband and children
My sister
Hugs

I'm grateful for...
A win by my favorite football team
A look of thanks from my kids when I do something special for them
The warmth of a shower after a great workout
The smell of fresh laundry
The taste of movie popcorn

I'm grateful for...
Sharing an evening and dinner with good friends
Laughing
The look on my dog's face that says, 'I love you more than anyone in the world'
Flowers and veggies from my garden
All the "little' things in life (because they mean so much)

I'm grateful for my family, for my life and for my health.  I'm thankful that I have so much and so much to give.  I'm thankful I live in such a splendorous country and am surrounded by people who make my life so wonderful

Thank you... all of you.  You make me feel blessed.

So, what are you thankful for?
