Every now and then somebody will complain about traffic issues here in Cincinnati. While there is certainly rush hour congestion, on the interstates particularly, I would not say that Cincinnati has a traffic issue. I have lived in Washington, D.C., and in Miami, both have TRAFFIC. Both of those cities pale in comparison however to the likes of Los Angeles, the undisputed traffic capital of the country. Point being, Cincinnati doesn't really have constant traffic issues.
My concerns about traffic here in Cincy deal more with the intersections, and the inability for drivers to understand that they should only advance into the intersection if there is room.
Every day I observe drivers who see that the light is yellow and work their way into the intersection with no place to go. This, of course, blocks the intersection for drivers who now have a green light. In other words, their problem just became yours. Yes I am talking to you, soccer mom in the SUV. Little Isabella can be a few minutes later to practice if, God forbid, you have to wait for another light.
