(CNN) -- One of the more popular mobile app games could wind up on your TV soon.

Industry trade Variety reports that CBS has won a bidding war to produce a pilot for a game show based on the Zynga mobile game "Draw Something."

The show is backed by three heavyweights in game and unscripted TV production: Sony Pictures Television ("Jeopardy!"), Ryan Seacrest Prods. ("Keeping Up with the Kardashians"), and Embassy Row ("The Glee Project").

Seacrest said of the news on Twitter Friday, "Yes working w/ my pals at @zynga to bring Draw Something to TV on @CBS! Any pinky picassos want in?"

If you're not familiar, "Draw Something" features players trying to convey a guess-word to their partners by drawing pictures, similar to "Pictionary" and "Win, Lose or Draw." It's not clear how the TV pilot will stray from the app, but Variety reports the show will feature in-studio play involving contestants and celebrities, as well as a play-at-home element.

The "Draw Something" app was developed by Omgpop and was downloaded 50 million times just seven weeks after its release. Both the app and Omgpop were purchased by Zynga for $180 million in March.
