Having a pet can be a rewarding experience, but should you ever consider owning more than one pet?
The answer is yes according to Katy Campolongo and Ellen Cole from Fourgotten Paws.
They say that having a second pet can add more joy and comfort into your life. You would then receive the unconditional love of more than one pet.
Pets are generally happier in pairs. They have someone to play and hang out with while you're busy.
It also can reduce separation anxiety from pets being left alone and can revitalize an aging or lonely dog by bringing in a new member of the family.
There are the added expenses of veterinary care and food, so you will need to consider that before deciding if it's right for you to add another pet.
Pet Pals Update... Both puppies featured on Pet Pals December 10, 2011 were adopted. Hannah was adopted by a family in Indiana who watched the segment and Bianca, the English Setter was adopted by a gentleman in Owenton, KY who had just lost his 13 year old English Setter.
Cole said, "In Bianca's case, we feel it was a "meant to be" situation. Her new owner was without cable all week and Saturday morning decided to play with the TV and it came on right as Katy was talking about Bianca."
