LEXINGTON, Ky. - A college student in Kentucky faces criminal charges for emailing a picture of the Joker to a school administrator.
University of Kentucky representatives say student Steven Kennedy filed a complaint against Administrator Terry Allen, according to information from WTVQ in Lexington, Ky.
When that complaint was investigated and dismissed, prosecutors say Kennedy emailed the administrator an image of the Joker.
Officials say the email is being taken very seriously in light of the deadly shooting at a midnight showing of the latest Batman movie at an Aurora, Colo., movie theater.
Thursday, Kennedy was arraigned on a charge of terroristic threatening.
