LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A Louisville, Ky. mother has been arrested after allegedly trying to abandon her child at a store.
WDRB-TV reports 39-year-old Fengshan Huang tried to leave a Sam's Club without her 6-year-old daughter. When store employees, who found the child by herself in an aisle, tried to give her back to Huang, the mother allegedly responded by telling store employees to keep her, saying she didn't want the girl anymore.
Police say they charged Huang with first-degree wanton endangerment and took the girl to the Home of the Innocents.
It was unclear Wednesday whether Huang had an attorney.
