Local business provides help for parents

FLORENCE, Ky. - Thursday morning school closings and hazardous roads put many Tri-state parents in a bind trying to find daycare.

Finding daycare for your youngster isn’t always easy. But, a local business says it can make it a little easier.

Skidaddles in Florence, Ky. is a drop-in anytime kid care for children ages 12 months to 12 years.

And, when it comes to inclement weather, they will keep your child safe, fed and entertained throughout the snow day.

"It means that we get a lot busier, you know we have a lot of parents calling and kind of scrambling for child care. So, they need last minute care and we are able to provide that care for them on a no resolution--no commitment basis," said Tiffany Sams, owner of Skidaddles.

Today, the daycare was 60 percent full.
