CINCINNATI - The World Choir Games is less than a month away, and the event just announced a new program to save you money during the games.

More than 50 local retailers, restaurants and attractions are participating in the 'Go, Show, Save' program. 'Go, Show, Save' offers promotional discounts and deals at local establishments.

Arnold's Bar & Grill was one of the first to sign up for the program.

Manager Chris Breeden says 'Go, Show, Save' is a way for his business to grow.

"It was easy to do, and I really feel like I shouldn't pass up any opportunities to gain an edge, or get my name out there to all the visitors that come into Cincinnati," said Breeden.

The program was announced Friday at Fountain Square. Officials with 'Go, Show, Save' says it's offering the best experiences at a discounted price during the World Choir Games.

Program organizers say they're trying to help businesses prosper from the tens of thousands of visitors expected to travel to Cincinnati just for the historic event July 4-14.

"We wanted to make sure that those participants and all the many many visitors that are coming in for the games get out into the businesses, the restaurants, the retailers, the merchants of the art shops, make sure that they get out and explore more than just Fountain Square or the Duke Energy Center, or some of the many venues that are involved," said Cincinnati USA CVB President and CEO Dan Lincoln.

Visitors, volunteers, and participants can all cash in on the sweet deals. Lincoln says it's simple:

"Show your badge, show your credentials, show your ticket at any one of the merchants and retailers that are signed up and you'll get all kinds of discounts, deals, meals, appetizers, discounts off your purchases."

Morton's, Macy's, and Findlay Market are just a few of the retailers offering deals to lure you in.

Arnold's Bar & Grill is offering 10 percent off your general bill, plus a free trading pin.

"They say they'll be a lot of people coming to downtown Cincinnati, I imagine if they want to go to the right place in Cincinnati to experience true Cincinnati, then Arnold's Bar & Grill is the right place for them," said Breeden.

Businesses can register to participate for free here . The registration deadline is June 29.
