CINCINNATI - International representatives from the World Choir Games will receive a musical welcome Monday during a public event on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.
The event will take place at UC’s Corbett Auditorium in the College-Conservatory of Music Village. The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. with a performance by the Cincinnati Children’s Choir and a brief reception to follow.
At 2 p.m., the World Choir Council will convene at a welcome ceremony. The council comprises leaders in the choral industry from more than 80 countries and serves as a meeting point for discussion about choral arts worldwide.
The choral performance and welcome ceremony are free and open to the public. Parking is available in the CCM garage near Corry Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue, as well as other garages across the UC campus.
