CINCINNATI, Ohio - In just 23 days, downtown Cincinnati will be filled with musical bliss for the World Choir Games and on Monday, Cincinnati officials will discuss their final preparations.

City and World Choir Games representatives have been planning and getting ready for this big event for two years, and they are talking about their final preparations at a news conference on Fountain Square that begins at 2 p.m.

Also on Monday, topiaries are being installed at U.S. Bank Arena’s plaza level to celebrate the music competition, which will run from July 4 through 14. The topiaries are giant bushes that have been trimmed and shaped into musical notes

About 370 choirs are registered for the games. Organizers expect at least 15,000 visitors from 48 countries. WCPO-TV is the official media sponsor for the World Choir Games. This is the 7th time for the event.
