Oscars app gives users backstage pass to the awards

The glitz, the glamor, the stars, who wouldn't want an all access pass to the Academy Awards?

If you can't afford to jet to Hollywood Sunday Feb. 26, the 2012 Oscars iPad and iPhone app may be the next best thing.

You can watch over a dozen live stream cameras from the comfort of our couch before, during and after the show which begins on Channel 9 at 7 p.m.

The app takes you behind the scenes with cameras on the red carpet, inside Kodak Theater and even backstage!

Users who are feeling a little competitive can team up with their friends and choose which nominees will take home the golden statue by casting and sharing their ballots on Facebook.

And of course, we can't forget about the fashion! You can check out what looks are likely to be hot this year and just exactly what it takes to put together that perfect red carpet look.
