LOS ANGELES - It will not be a cakewalk to the Mirrorball Trophy on the championship of “Dancing with the Stars.”

There are three couples remaining: Green Bay Packer Donald Driver and Peta; classical singer Katherine Jenkins and Mark; and actor William Levy and Cheryl.

Each couple must perform two dances Monday night. The first dance will be the judge’s pick. Katherine and William will probably get dances suited to them (i.e. a classical dance and a Latin dance), but I would be worried if I were Donald. The judges seem to score him low and they may throw him for a loop with their pick so their two favorites can be the final two.

The next dance is what’s become known as the fan favorite every season: the freestyle. We don’t yet have a hint as to what the couples have planned, but I would say look out for Katherine and Mark. Mark waits each season for the freestyle to let his flamboyant choreography shine.

If Donald is bumped out first, there’s a chance Mark’s wild freestyle choreography could backfire with the judges, leaving William poised to beat Katherine for the championship.

Katherine tweeted, “With 3 dances this week, I'm having a mammoth wardrobe fitting at DWTS. Love this bit though, going to miss these amazingly talented people!”

But the competition continues Tuesday night, too. That’s when the three couples must deliver the “24 Hour Challenge.” They will reportedly have 24 hours to pair their dance style of choice to music given to them after Monday night’s show. Donald learns quickly and is most physically fit, so he could be a dark horse come Tuesday.

Donald tweeted, “Hello Tweeps, it will be a great day Monday. It is Peta first. So lets help her get that MIRROR BALL.”

TV host Maria Menounos and Derek were the fourth to last couple eliminated last week. Her elimination was something of a surprise because the judges gave her the highest score that week, but viewers put their votes behind the other stars.

We can also look forward to performances from Kelly Clarkson and Gladys Knight, who was kicked off earlier this season. All of the stars from this season should also be making return appearances.

The competition kicks off Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
