For all the romantics pining away from great duets of film and music, Cincinnati World Cinema presents Best Animated Feature nominee "Chico & Rita", the tale of a pair of star-crossed musicians with a soundtrack by Cuban bandleader Bebo Valdés featuring classic tunes from Thelonius Monk, Dizzy Gillespie and Cole Porter.

Combine 2008 Best Foreign Language nominee "Waltz with Bashir" (another adult animated feature) and writer Oscar Hijuelos’s 1989 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love" with accents of Wim Wender’s 1999 "Buena Vista Social Club" and you will have a sense of what’s cooking in this tasty dish; a special treat for local lovers screening 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

The cost is $10 in advance, $12 at the door and the event will be held at The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center, 1028 Scott Blvd., Covington.
