VINYL reWIND, billed as a lively, entertaining and thoughtful one-night-only program by this Cincinnati-based company, reprises recent short dance works to evocative vinyl hits like “These Arms of Mine,” “Sea of Love,” “A Little Help From My Friends,” plus a world premiere to the Beatles’ “Help!” Each is designed to showcase young love and its many permutations amid the spirit of freedom and rebellion against the status quo that characterized ’50s and ’60s music themes.

New company member Jacob Thoman solos to Credence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son,” recalling the anti-war sentiments of the times. Exhale’s co-artistic directors Missy Lay-Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard (who makes a special appearance during this show) have managed to attract an extremely energetic and fit group of performers, who willingly give their all — from playfulness to seriousness — in iconic situations where oversize emotion reigns supreme and the physicality of the young movers onstage is mesmerizing. 8 p.m.

Saturday. $27.50. Jarson Kaplan Theater, Aronoff Center.
