Looking for something fun to do this weekend? 9 On Your Side has teamed up with CityBeat to give you the top nine picks!
1. St. Patrick's Day
This is a German city, but everyone's Irish on St. Patty's Day weekend. Don't miss the downtown parade, the Washington Park Irish takeover and Mainstrasse's weekend-long tent parties.
Expect to see floats, pipers, step dancers, Irish families and marching bands all throughout the region. And of course Guinness. Lots and lots of Guinness.

While you're out, don't forget there are beers for St. Patty's Day other than Guinness (although maybe not as good). So if the dark roast isn't your preference, check out our list of nine craft brews that will fit right in to your holiday at http://www.wcpo.com/dpp/entertainment/check-out-these-9-alternatives-to-guinness-and-green-beer-for-st-patricks-day .
Please drink responsibility laddies!
3. Nonstop Irish Music
The Southgate House Revival has put together a mash of Irish tunes, from traditional folk bands to rock & roll groups that just want to be Irish for a day.
From favorites like "Danny Boy" to the Irish pop of "Whiskey in the Jar," this eclectic mix of music will make a perfect Sunday evening end to your long, green weekend.

4. For A Family St. Patrick's Day
This is one you can bring the whole family to: The Irish Heritage Center will be celebrating all things green all weekend long.
On Saturday, the doors open at noon with children’s arts and crafts until 5 p.m. All the while, enjoy live Irish music, dancing, Irish food and plenty of green beer to get you through the day.
Festivities continue Sunday with an 11 a.m. mass by an Irish reverend, the debut of an Irish Famine Ship Model, more traditional Irish stew and beverages, with continued music, Irish jigs and a children’s parade.

5. For a non-St. Patrick's Day family weekend - The Circus
This year's Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey visit to the Tri-State features dragons. Yes, dragons.
The mystical Dragon Tribes from all over the world will be gathering at U.S. Bank Arena to battle for your hearts and minds in a classic and spectacular setting. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey have been at this game for quite awhile now, so families should expect nothing but top-notch entertainment and thrills.
Their tagline is “The Greatest Show on Earth,” for crying out loud.
