CINCINNATI - One of the Tri-State's staple summer events is just around the corner.
The (almost) complete lineup for the MidPoint Indie Summer Series on Fountain Square was announced this Thursday.
Musical acts from around the world, including regional and local artists, will take the stage every Friday from June 1 through Aug. 31. The event is free and begins around 8 p.m. on the Square.
The series serves as a preview for the MidPoint Music Festival, which takes place over the course of three days in September in downtown Cincinnati. The event will also feature bands that sold out during last year's MPMF, including Brightlight Social Hour, Bear Hands and Lydia Loveless.
It's part of the PNC Summer Music Series on Fountain Square which offers free live music six nights a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
