Patricia Corbett is more than just the name of theater on UC’s College Conservatory of Music campus. She was a generous philanthropist who funded major arts institutions and arts programs around Cincinnati including the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Music Hall and, obviously, CCM, laying the foundation for our current abundant arts scene.

But what’s the fun in funding an event if you aren’t going to attend it? So Corbett also happened to be quite the avid arts patron, and a very well dressed one to boot.

"Selections from the Collection of Patricia Corbett: A Vintage Designer Fashion Show" is the first to pay tribute to her fantastic style in a one-night only fashion show at the Weston Art Gallery featuring 50 outfits from Corbett’s personal collection. Looks range from “sophisticated loungewear and classic business chic to exquisite cocktail dresses and formal gowns” spanning the decades between the 1950s and 1990s. Select fashions will even be for sale.

The event will also function as a sneak peek of the knitted and crocheted sculptural brass, copper and steel wire clothing of Cincinnati-based artist and photographer Jeanine Steele.

Starts at 8 p.m.; doors open at 7 p.m.
