CINCINNATI - The American Sign Museum is celebrating the grand opening of its new location this weekend.
On Saturday, June 23, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. at 1330 Monmouth Street in Cincinnati. The museum is leaving its temporary home at Essex Studios for its own space.
Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children, senior citizens, students with ID and those actively serving in the military. Children under 12 are free.
Free tours are also available as part of ticket purchase. However, reservations should be made in advance.
The grand opening will last from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The American Sign Museum is home to more than 4,000 items. According to the website, the staff's mission is "to inform and educate the general public, as well as business and special interest groups, about the history of the sign industry and its significant contribution to commerce and the American landscape."
