For more than 100 years, the Anna Louise Inn has been serving area women in need. Located in Lytle Park in downtown Cincinnati, it is the only single-room occupancy residence for women in the city and acts as a safe harbor for women who have nowhere else to go. For more than a year, the Inn has been involved in a series of legal disputes with Western & Southern Financial Group and on Sept. 20, the Anna Louise Inn won its most recent legal victory to stay in their home and continue to help women in need.
Support Anna Louise Inn with a neighborhood bar crawl this weekend. Ohioans United to Protect Abused Women (OUTPAW) and Sexy Cincinnati are throwing this celebration. For $10, you will receive a ticket on the bus to be stamped at every bar. The bars include Milton’s Prospect Hill Tavern, The Drinkery, MOTR, Japp’s, Neon’s and Arnold’s Bar and Grill. Those who collect all six stamps will be entered to win a gift basket donated from one of the area’s many liquor distributors. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Over-the-Rhine neighborhood bars.
