Looking for something fun to do this weekend? 9 News has teamed up with CityBeat to give you the top nine picks.
1. Warren County Fair
The Warren County Fair is back! A parade kicked off the fair on Tuesday, however it's run is shorter than last year. The fair runs thorough Saturday from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Like last year, more than 1,000 children and teens are participating in the Junior Fair through their 4-H clubs. But new this year is the addition of wood carvers who will do four shows each day.
2. The Great Ohio River Swim - CANCELED DUE TO HIGH BACTERIA LEVELS
Since the dog days of summer are upon us earlier than usual this year, you may be looking for ways to unleash the summer heat.
This Saturday the Great Ohio River Swim, which is Cincinnati's biggest and only open water swim competition on the Ohio River, returns for the fifth year.
Contestants will swim from the Serpentine Wall to Kentucky and then back to the Public Landing, which is an approximate distance of 900 meters.

3 . Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham performs this weekend
Watching ventriloquist Jeff Dunham perform live, you might catch a glimpse of what Steve Martin used to call “the creativity in action.” It’s the part of his set during which he might try something brand new. “I come up with an idea or a premise,” he explains, “and I’ll stick it in the middle of the show and just start ad-libbing. Literally the best stuff comes out on stage.”
Dunham times his annual performance in the Tri-State with his involvement in the Vent Haven Ventriloquist Convention in Fort Thomas, Ky.
His performance is this Saturday. Get the details here (http:// www.wcpo.com/ dpp/entertainment/ citybeat/ ventriloquist-jeff-dunham-performs-this-weekend) .
4. Over the Rhine to play free show in Washington Park
The Cincinnati-based and critically acclaimed band Over the Rhine will play a free show this weekend at the newly renovated Washington Park.
Since the band formed in 1990 they have released 19 albums, including their newest "The Long Surrender" which debuted last year.

5. Mayday's Wet Hot American Summer grill out
Mayday, the Northside bar, restaurant and music venue all in one, has a lot of goals for itself. While it already stands as one of the most happening local spots, it simply does not want to settle for anything less than what it is capable of: expanding its impact while still maintaining that community embracement. In support of this movement, Mayday is hosting the Wet Hot American Summer Beer and Grill Out; the name pretty much says it all.
The grill out will involve your typical party favors, although amplified by the Rock & Roll spirit of the venue. Attendees can expect to be drenched in water-fun festivities, dine upon the fine American cuisine Mayday creates, watch summer films and drink craft beers from Bell’s, Bear Republic, Greenflash, Troegs and Northpeak.
The event is kid friendly until 9 p.m. Find out more here (http://www.wcpo.com/dpp/entertainment/citybeat/maydays-wet-hot-american-summer-beer-and-grill-out) .
