CNN) -- Keri Russell is set to join the home of Charlie Sheen and Louis C.K. in 2013.
FX has picked up 13 episodes of a new drama called "The Americans," which stars the former "Felicity" star and Matthew Rhys as KGB spies living undercover as Americans in a Washington, D.C. suburb right around the time President Reagan was elected into office, Entertainment Weekly reports.
According to a statement from the network, Rhys and Russell portray Phillip and Elizabeth Jennings, a couple in a complex arranged marriage raising two children who are unaware of who their parents really are.
The relationship between Phillip and Elizabeth "grows more passionate and genuine by the day, but is constantly tested by the escalation of the Cold War and the intimate, dangerous and darkly funny relationships they must maintain with a network of spies and informants under their control," a statement from FX says.
And that's not all: Phillip's "growing sense of affinity for America's values and way of life" will throw another knot in the couple's union.
"The Americans," created by Joe Weisberg ("Falling Skies"; "Damages") will mark another return to TV for Russell, who was last seen on the tube in Fox's "Running Wilde" alongside current "Up All Night" star Will Arnett.
