Police cut short rapper FLAVOR FLAV's Independence Day celebrations on Wednesday after shutting down his private fireworks show.
The Public Enemy star was celebrating the holiday with his Las Vegas neighbors when he decided to light up the sky with his own pyrotechnics, causing a massive cloud of smoke and explosions.
Cops arrived at the reality star's property to investigate the situation and asked Flavor Flav and his guests to clear the street as they shut down the spectacular over safety concerns.
The entire incident was captured on video and TMZ.com has since obtained a copy of the footage, which shows the hitmaker politely complying with officials.
Speaking to the site about his eventful evening, the 53 year old said, "We had a good time watching my fireworks show and everything ended safely. Cops came a few times but didn't arrest me... thank God (and the police)!"
