ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER is so ashamed of his 1969 movie HERCULES IN NEW YORK he thinks the awful film should be shown to terrorists who won't talk to interrogators.

The former California Governor is credited as Arnold Strong in the film - and he's glad it isn't a title that he's remembered for.

Schwarzenegger tells Men's Fitness magazine, "There's this political battle over (torture technique) water-boarding at places like Guantanamo Bay. I think they (interrogators) should just say, 'Hey, if you guys don't talk, you'll have to see Hercules in New York.'

"I guarantee those guys would talk much faster with that treatment."
